A friend recommended this donut & croissant shop located at Covina, California. It is old fashioned, small and traditional. The service is very friendly. They seem to be family owned. I ordered a dozen donuts and they are all very freshly baked. Donut is soft, fluffy, and it just tastes fresh off oven. The ham and cheese croissant is really good. The croissant is crispy with thin layers and fluffy. It filled with cheese and ham plus jalapeno! Just enough of them without over powering spiciness! And the croissant and slightly sugary. Recommended!

The sweetest couple owns this place! My partner and I came in on a Sunday at 2:30pm and they were sold out of the infamous jalapeño, cheese, and ham croissants! But they still had the ham and cheese ones. We decided to get a ham and cheese, strawberry, and cream cheese one. All totaling up to $10, but when they opened the package for us to see it all, they added a bunch more croissants (for free)! It was so kind and generous. We think maybe because they were going to be closing within the next hour and since it was near the holidays. Nevertheless, we at everything and it was SO GOOD. The best ham and cheese & strawberry croissants! I will definitely be coming back here.

I happened to be in the area, so finally was able to stop by and try Munchkins Donut Shop! The ham and cheese croissant absolutely lives up to the hype. So glad that I was able to try it. First of all, I was amazed at how huge it is. It was freshly warm, soft but flaky on the outside. The ham and melted cheese were delicious. I absolutely enjoyed it, and will definitely come back again when I'm in the area. And looking forward to trying their donuts too. Service is very friendly and efficient, with a cheerful ambience. Parking is plentiful, as it is in a shopping center on the corner. Highly recommended!

Munchkins Donuts Shop serves freshly baked goods with exemplary and welcoming service. I ordered two Ham and Cheese (with jalapeno) Croissants for $9.50. ($4.75 each). In addition, staff added free/complimentary sugar croissants in the box and a wad of napkins. Each Ham and Cheese (with jalapeno) Croissant is very wide and large. These croissants are fresh and very flaky. If you choose to eat in your car, be careful; each bite will drop pastry crumbs. These croissants are also filled with warm, oozy melted cheese and soft ham. The diced jalapenos also give a mild spice. Yum! I arrived near 8AM on a weekend, and customers were consistently entering and exiting. The service is also fast; I waited only two minutes to reach the cash register. Staff is helpful and friendly. I appreciated how they exclaimed "Have a nice day!" as I left. This local favorite is very cozy and welcoming. Overall, Munchkins Donuts Shop offers a pleasant experience. If craving something warm and cheesy, I definitely recommend the Ham and Cheese (with jalapeno) Croissant before they sell out.

This is such a charming little donut shop! When I arrived, almost everything was sold out, with just two trays left -- a clear sign of how popular and good their products are. I ordered two strawberry sticks and asked if they had any jalapeño ham and cheese croissants left, knowing it was a long shot. To my surprise, they offered to make two fresh ones for me, which was incredibly thoughtful and shows just how great their customer service is. The shop itself is small but very clean, with a cozy, homey vibe. The jalapeño ham and cheese croissants were fantastic--the cheese was still warm and perfectly melted, and the balance of ham and jalapeño was spot-on. Overall, I had a wonderful experience, and even got to chat with one of the regulars, which made it feel even more welcoming. Definitely recommend!

One of our go-to local donut shops. They have a good variety of classic and signature donuts. Some favorites include the old-fashioned buttermilk, blueberry, and maple. The folks behind the counter are always super nice and will sometimes throw in extra mini croissants. Definitely make a stop if you're in the area or want affordable and good donuts!

We came on a Saturday at noon and got 2 ham cheese and jalapeño croissants and a chocolate filled donut. Pros - for about $5 a croissant it's very hefty. Value for money you won't find many places to beat it for a breakfast on the go. - it was tasty. Nothing spectacular, but it was very good. - the chocolate filled donut was pretty sweet and the chocolate was nice and moist unlike a lot of places. - very friendly staff. They threw in 5 extra small croissants for free! Cons - none Overall 7/10

One of the best donut shops I been to. Lady at the counter was so so sweet.. I came for the ham and cheese because I hear they are the best. Runors are true. Flaky on the outside yet so soft on the inside. Perfect amount of cheese. Some might say not enough ham but I love it. Everything about the ham and cheese was perfect. Way better than seaside by a landslide. Glaze was also so fluffy. So soft. Not oily . I really can't wait to go back and try everything else here

Munchkin Donuts will always remain my FAVORITE  Donuts place. Their ham and cheese croissant is unbeatable! They have it also with Jalapeno which add more deliciousness. There is a  wide variety of fresh donuts. The apple fritter is such a scrumptious one. Everything is outstanding in this place. The service is top notch. The owners are the sweetest and the best people you can ever meet. They are very friendly and they really love and respect their customers. If you have not tried Munchkin Donuts yet, then you are missing out. It's a must try place!
